Crawford County appoints Mrs Bennett chief voter registrar
Mrs. Harold E. Bennett of Linesville is named chief voter registrar for Crawford County to fill the retirement of Mrs Mildred Gartner who served over 32 years. Bennett has been deputy registrar for the past 70 years and will assume the post Monday. Separately a Port Meadville Airport fire destroyed a small private plane, a Cessna 170 B owned by S L Rawson of Edinboro, with an estimated loss of 5000 dollars and the fire deemed suspicious.
