Police Chief J W Jordan announced the resignations of Sgt William J Buzard and Officer Kenneth H Kieswetter from the Coronado Police Department to take overseas posts with California Arabian Oil Company in Saudi Arabia. A sergeant vacancy will be filled by Civil Service examinations next Thursday at 10 a m in City Hall. The Glorietta Bay Fourth of July fireworks show, sponsored by the Coronado Chamber of Commerce, will begin at 8 30 p m next Sunday over the bay, with viewing from the Strand opposite Prospect Point. The display is produced by the Golden State Fireworks Company.

Planning Commission Approves Tidelands Redevelopment Plans
