Traffic survey in S D County to begin June 15
The California Division of Highways will start a multi month traffic survey on June 15 to study future routing of U S 101 through San Diego and Orange counties to Los Angeles. State Engineer George T Mc Coy announced the effort conducted with U S Public Roads Administration and the California Highway Patrol. The study will stop hundreds of thousands of trucks and passenger cars to learn origins, destinations, and purposes of travel. Pyramid Lake in Nevada is described as unique by the National Automobile Club.
