Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Coronado Mortuary Chapel under Coronado Lodge 441 F&AM for Thomas Archibald Rankin age 67 who died Saturday at his home 657 G Avenue. Born in Paisley Ontario Canada he had worked in Duluth Minnesota as a wholesale grocery salesman for many years. He retired five years ago and made Coronado his home Surviving are his wife Pauline Rankin of Coronado and a brother Wm A Rankin of Duluth.

Mrs. Theresa Vernetti Dies During Arizona Visit

Aid To Music Group Sponsors Benefit Parties In Coronado
The Aid to Music in the Schools project, sponsored by the Coronado Section of the A A U W, drew overwhelming support as two February 21 fundraisers sold out. The events featured bridge and a Town and Country Shop fashion show with music by Laing Appliances and prizes from local merchants including Bay Lumber and Supply, The Blairware Shop, The Bookworm, Coronado Department Store, and Town and Country Theatres among others. Proceeds supported musical instruments for local schools.
