Burglary Reports At Local Shell Station And Home
Police reported two burglaries last week. A Shell Service Station on Orange Avenue and Tenth Street, run by Walter Shortt, lost a $300 cash register containing about $10. Coronado Carbarn to be dismantled after sale
The Coronado carbarn at First Street and Orange Avenue, in use for 29 years, will be dismantled after its sale by the San Diego & Coronado Ferry Company. George Hansen will conduct dismantling and salvage the structure. The firm plans a new lighting system at the ferry entrance by mid April and other Coronado improvements are slated for the next two months.
