Toastmaster presentation delights crowds at opera house

The high school graduating class directed by Miss Clara Marion Bennett staged The Toastmaster at the opera house on Friday and Saturday night. Cast members Fred Raney as Bill Morgan and Ryland Newton as Towel Fairfax drew praise along with Helen Newton as Cynthia. The production featured a large ensemble, comic turns by Harold Corkhill and Loyd Lincoln, and musical numbers by Estelle Davis and others.

Sutherland the Del Rey hotel proprietor acquires a five year lease of the Lake View Inn at Lake Elsinore. J O Sutherland of Oklahoma will manage the Lake View while the Del Rey remains operated by the same owner. The Lake View features a large dining room parlors sample rooms forty five bedrooms and mineral springs bath house noted for medical treatment attracting tourists and huntsmen.
