Simmons Buys Five Acre San Jacinto Ranch
The deal closed this week making Mr. Chas. Simmons owner of five acres on the north side of the Santa Fe track two miles northeast of town. Beekeepers in Corona report a markedly reduced honey yield due to insufficient spring rainfall. Nectar plants failed to moisture roots, bees search for nectar but find little. Orange trees bloomed earlier but now nectar is scarce, limiting production well below normal. Estimated area revenue drops by about sixty percent from the usual $10,000.
