Mrs. Sarah B Harmon of West Nish Street reported a man from Indianapolis identified as Hayne forcibly entering her home yesterday afternoon about 3 30 knocking at the door with apples Then he kissed her and forced advances until she scared him off by threatening discovery The assailant was jailed after Harmon identified him and he had recently peddled apples in town
