Indiana gang of horse thieves menaces three states

A Winchester writer linked to the Hinshaw case reports a gang of horse thieves operating in Indiana Illinois and Ohio taking multiple horses. A dark bay mare stolen near Winchester November 13 1907 along with an Anderson buggy and harnesses prompted a 75 dollar reward for the horse and rig and 25 dollars for capture and conviction of the thief.

Milton High Girls Beat Boys In School Game

A Milton High School basketball game on school grounds featured boys vs girls with a first half score of 9 to 2 in favor of the girls and a final 16 to 14 victory for the girls. Miss Hazel Sisco of the Conservatory of Music in Indianapolis will return home tomorrow with two friends Miss Nell Frank and Miss Watel Huffens to stay with her mother on Mulberry Street until Thanksgiving.
