Tragic Death of Saxon Two Year Old Alfred
The lifeless body of Alfred Saxon aged two was found hanging on a yard gate by his mother Mrs. Saxon last evening. Doctors call it a strange accident likely caused by a stair from the gate where a gap between boards trapped his neck. The Saxon family, well known in Fairview county, reside on the Martin Hogan farm six miles south of the city. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 in the Catholic church, with interment at Fairview.

Mrs Daniel Neff Dies in Indianapolis at 80
Mrs Daniel Neff died at her Indianapolis home at age eighty after a prolonged illness. She was the wife of Daniel Neff and sister to the Smallwood brothers. Funeral services will be held at her residence in Indianapolis at two this afternoon, with burial in Crown Hill cemetery. Relatives from this city will attend.

Train Strikes Buggy At Third Street Crossing
Edith Alexander of southwest city was crossing the Big Four tracks when a freight train backing to the station struck her buggy. The rear wheels were demolished and she suffered only bruises and a severe fright. The Big Four agent had her driven home in a livery rig. Her father is farmer W L Alexander.
