Bedford Pupils Rise to 371 in Local Schools
Bedford reports 371 pupils enrolled this year with the first grade showing 58 students. The Bedford school committee asks Selectmen to close Mudge Way during school hours 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The road runs past the school and into School Way through the playgrounds, so riders are urged to use Great Road. A magazine subscription drive will begin in October to raise funds for special activities. Buy Victory Bonds.
