Four Parcels in Mooreland Farm Offered For Private Sale Concord

A long time Concord resident lists four parcels of Mooreland Farm south of Lexington Road for private sale or rental. The 17 acre property is divided into four lots with detailed frontage and area figures, plus an additional detached lot. Auction planned for October 4, 1924 at 2:30 p.m. with terms allowing up to 70 percent mortgage and required deposits.

Acton Fair A Huge Success At Acton Centre Grounds

The Acton Agricultural Association under incumbent leadership saw the Acton Fair grow into a major northern Middlesex County agricultural event held September 19 and 20. President W Stuart Allen oversaw a well run show with new boosters expanding reach while demand for larger grounds and better facilities grew. A popular feature was the dig tent serving hot meals managed by Clarence D Chickering. Continued on page six.

Maynard Dentist Found Dead In Chair

Dr Robert W Cochran a Maynard dentist was found dead in his office chair this morning. James Priest proprietor of Priest’s restaurant found him lifeless with lights on and a heart attack listed as the cause. The death leaves a wife, daughter and son in Milford and follows recent heart trouble. New York report notes Gov Al Smith re nomination by acclamation.
