Fire damages Nason Street house in small blaze
Firefighters were summoned Friday morning at 4 30 to a house on Nason Street owned by Fred Cahill and occupied by Mrs. Mary Boyle. Officials say a match was struck to escaping gas from an outdoor vent, causing a small blaze. The loss was limited to charred clapboards.

William O Connell died Monday from injuries after being struck by a car. Funeral services were held at Christians Church with a high Mass.
