John Clarity, formerly of Concord and one of the last two surviving G A R members of Old Concord Post 180, died in Lynn and was brought back for burial at Sleepy Hollow cemetery. Military honors were given at the grave with a half staff flag and taps, led by local veterans groups and officiated by Rev. George Loring Thurlow.

Funeral held at home Rev George L Thurlo officiated with burial at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. Survived by sons Albert Edward Ralph and daughter Maude.
