Federation Club Meeting Leads District Delegation

Mrs. Charles A. Stockbridge of this town directed a delegation from the 11th district to the Autumn State Federation meeting in Worcester. Maynard club members attending included Mrs. Hulda Taylor and other officers. Stockbridge will broadcast on WBZ at 1160 Thursday morning on A Bird's Eye View of the 11th District.

Mrs Schnair Dies In Acton

West Acton resident Mrs Charles Schnair died suddenly last night at her home at age 62 from heart trouble. Born in Newfoundland she had lived in West Acton 32 years and is survived by her husband and 13 children. Services will be conducted by Rev Bason of St George's church.

Concord Grange to Present Annual Musical Entertainment

Concord Grange No. 150 will host its annual musical entertainment at Elks Hall in Concord on Tuesday November 4 at 8 30 p m. The short business meeting ends before the show open to visitors. Proceeds benefit the Education Aid fund directed by Mrs Helen Croft pianist and Miss Nettie Wells lecturer. Members urged to attend and bring friends.

Junior High Presents The Windmills of Holland Operetta

Miss Mary Doyle announced eighth graders will stage The Windmills of Holland in December under Miss Ethel Lovely. Near Death for Sharpe Children After Castor Bean Mix-Up

Three Sharpe children Mary 5 David 4 and George 3 narrowly escaped death after eating castor beans mistaken for nuts. Dr Flaherty and helpers treated them for hours until the poison was rendered non threatening and the children were out of danger.
