Horse in City Runaway Damages Bicycles and Wagons
A beer wagon horse bolted on Main Street near the post office Tuesday after 11 AM. It collided with Herbert Fowler’s buggy, broke whiffle-tree and shafts, demolished Hugh Anderson’s bicycle, struck the ice wagon of Whitney & Hastings, then ran up Nason Street before being stopped. Damages included a broken bicycle and buggy and a damaged delivery wagon. The horse is owned by Martin Peterson and employed by Farrell & Priest.

Man hospitalized after fall from moving truck
