Concord Horse Show Aids Scouts June 8 at Green Ridge

The third annual Concord Boot & Saddle Club horse show will be held on Saturday June 8 at Green Ridge Riding School to benefit the Concord Boy Scouts damping fund. Entries include top saddle and jumping horses with an outside jumping course laid out by Richard Metcalf. James H Murphy of Belmont will be general chairman with Lawrence Clark as vice chairman. Boxes of six seats are on sale. 90 boxes exist, with over a third already promised. General admission is a nominal fee.

Mrs Catherine A Blackburn of Main Street West Concord died Monday after requiem mass at Our Lady Help of Christians Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. She was born in Quebec in 1874 and lived in Woburn earlier. William G Morey, retired carpenter, died Saturday at his nephew’s home on Main Street Concord. Interment at Edgell Grove Cemetery Framingham. He was born in Westfield Vermont in 1858 and survived by a brother Frederick and sister Miss Caroline Morey.
