William Concord Henry Sheehan, son of Selectman Edward W. Sheehan and Kathryn Sullivan Sheehan, died after a long illness. A Concord High School athlete, he played football, managed track, and was an altar boy at Our Lady Help of Christians Church. The will of Susan Noyes Hosmer of Somerville leaves Acton 10000 for a permanent Woodlawn Cemetery Fund to benefit the family lot and beautification. William Paananen, about 55, former Maynard resident, was picked up by Portland police this week on murder charges tied to an axe slaying in Chelsea a few weeks ago. He had lived at the Minto House and worked as a laborer after leaving town.
