Open Annex of Hospital Celebrated at Emerson Hospital
National Hospital Day was observed at Emerson Hospital with the formal opening of an addition to the Annex. The sun parlor was furnished by Our Lady Help of Christians Court Daughters of America of West Concord and opened with Mrs Florence Hrisman as chairwoman. About three dozen newborns each received a gift set. Guests included Mrs Anna Ballard East Milton State secretary and Mrs John Hennessey state deputy. The new doctors lounge was praised for its comfort and amenities. The event featured violin music and refreshments for about 200 visitors forthcoming from local donors.
