The next meeting is set for March 31 with hostesses Mrs William Pought Mrs Nina Flynn Mrs A J Foskett Mrs M Hix and Mrs Frank Hewitt. An Old Fashioned Social is planned for March under Mrs W A in charge.
Mr and Mrs J E Mahoney of Cambridge were Sunday guests of Mr and Mrs David Scanlon. Several local K of C members went to Hudson to attend degree work of the Hudson council. Miss Katherine Drysdale was a week end guest of friends in Everett and Saturday evening saw Fred Stone in Tip Top at the Colonial theatre. Robert M Prentiss has the contract for wiring a large double house at Revere erected by Max Blatt of Maynard and starts work this week.
The West Concord Woman's Club holds its regular fortnightly meeting on Thursday March 2. Miss Ainsworth of B A Filene Co Boston will speak on The Art Dress and demonstrate eleven models with apparel. A food sale is hosted by Mrs. Mary Hewitt, Household Economic chair.
Mr and Mrs Kieran Hickey of Waltham spent the weekend with Mrs Hickey’s parents Mr and Mrs W J Crossley. Mrs T F Gerrity and Mr Frank enjoyed the John McCormack concert at Symphony Hall Boston.
