Grange Degrees Praised At Annual Inspection Night
The Grange received high praise for exemplary degrees during its annual inspection. The third degree, led by Mrs. Albert P. Durkee, featured a new tableaux display, while the fourth degree, led by John D. Smith, also impressed. Inspecting deputy Walter A. Hutt of Southboro attended, and a supper was served under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Luke H. Tuttle.

Help Needed at Boston Children's Hospital Food and Clothing Drive

Concord Open Golf Set For Friday And Saturday
The Concord Country Club hosts an open golf tournament Friday and Saturday June 23. It features 18 hole handicap medal play with five prizes including best gross and best net. Post entries accepted, entry fee 1.50, luncheon served 11.30 to 2.30 on both days. The course is one of the state's longest and improvements on the nine hole layout will interest golfers.

Helen Hale Isley Michardson Passes at City Hospital Boston
Helen Hale Isley Michardson wife of Moody Michardson died at City Hospital Boston Sunday morning. A Boston City Hospital Nursing School graduate and Newburyport High School alumna she lived on West Street and was active in the City Hospital Alumnae Association. Funeral services were held at her late home conducted by Rev A E Wheeler with burial at Mt Hope cemetery. She leaves one son Richardson Isley and is predeceased by both parents aged 87 and 80.

Holmeses Host Choir Guests in Quincy Picnic
Dr and Mrs Holmes of South entertained twenty two members and friends of the First Presbyterian church choir in Quincy last Saturday afternoon June 10. Miss Holmes formerly was organist and choir director of the church. Rev Thomas R Turner attended. Guests arrived by car from Quincy and later enjoyed a town walk and a picnic with home grown strawberries.
