Frank Riley 69 a Maynard resident died at his home at 8 Dewey Street Saturday after a long illness. He worked 41 years as a spinner at Assabet Mills until his illness. He was widowed. He leaves two sons Albert and Wilfred Riley of Maynard and a daughter Mrs Irene Poe of Roxbury. Funeral high mass at St Bridget's Church conducted by Rev J David Welsh. Burial in St Bridget's Cemetery with Herbert W. Martin as undertaker. Bearers were Lester Cowles Leonard Farrell William O'Toole William Casy Peter Castrelli and George Rouchon of Sudbury.

Maynard Concord Selective Service Board will send its first group of 1-B registrants for physical examinations at Fort Devens this coming Saturday.
