Qiyland Nyland daughter of Mr and Mrs Joan Nyland of Thoreau street married Wandever Doty son of the late Clark Doty and Mrs Clark Doty at Trinitarian church in Medford on Saturday afternoon. Rev Wilfrid H Miss Nyland wore a white satin dress with lace and net. Matron of honor Miss Dorothy MacRae of Concord wore a peach embroidered net. Best man Amos E B Whitely of Wellesley and ushers included Austin D MacIae Jr Concord G Webster Servis Tatton Roger B Smith Tatton and Walter S Lippman Medford. Reception at Parish House followed. The couple plan a two weeks wedding trip and will reside in Concord where Mr Doty works in dining and heating business.
Concord district court cleared Prospect resident Robert E Woodman of charges after a disturbance at the state police barracks. Hudson man Thomas Kerrigan paid a 16 dollar fine for drunkenness. Cambridge youth John Malloy with no license was fined 10 dollars after being found asleep at Acton and borrowing a year.
Concord district court Judge Howard A Wilson last Thursday sentenced Concord resident William B Powers of 35 Harvey Street Cambridge to six months in the House of Correction for malicious damage to Edward Dattoli of Lexington plants valued at 200 dollars. Powers appealed. The July 3 incident was described as done for spite and reported to police.
A large BU student party will visit Concord Monday July 24 under Professor Rufus Stickney. The itinerary includes Lexington, the Paul Revere route, Alcott House, Chi Manse, Concord Bridge, the Ae Society Building, Walden Pond, and Thoreau’s hut site.

Robert Hume of Concord dies age 81 after 16 years at the Concord Reformatory where he worked in textiles. He leaves a widow Mrs Catherine Hume of Methuen and two children Jean and Fred C Hume of West Concord. He also leaves three sisters Mrs Ermest Le of West Concord Mrs R J Lang of Hast Greenwich R I and Owien Joan of New Bedford and a brother George R of Methven. He died after a vacation in the mountains due to heart failure.
Hudson committees named to organize the annual Sportsmen's Field Day at the Riverside Gun Club grounds. The event is set for Sunday August 20 with a rain date of Sunday August 27.

Concord High School music teacher arrived last Friday after a three week automobile journey. He visited his parents and former home in Plymouth Wisconsin after leaving Concord on June 26. Accompanying him was Phillip Vanderhoof, senior at Concord High. They traveled via Albany Corning Chicago to Plymouth visiting Glass Works and an antique show along the way.
