Miss Nellie Hogan remains confined to her home as she slowly recovers from injuries suffered in an accident. Local hospital reports no further complications and expects gradual improvement in coming weeks.
Board of health tests render Concord milk producers high quality with solids between 12.22 and 13.96 percent and fat around 3.5 to 4.6 percent. All samples are marked very clean or clean, exceeding Massachusetts requirements of 12.00 percent solids and 3.36 percent fat. J A Macone led the inspection for the local board of health.
Joseph Dee, catcher for the local nine, is noted as a top backstop in semi pro and college circles. Former mainstay of Heston College, he continues his clever play behind the bat and has found success in insurance alongside baseball.

Frances daughter of Mr and Mrs Joseph Alexander entertained a number of friends at a Thursday afternoon birthday party. The guests played games and enjoyed ice cream cakes and candy, ending at 5 o clock with thanks and gifts for the hostess. Miss Elsie Bean will supervise drawing training for public schools of South Hadley Massachusetts. Nine schools and about 60 teachers fall under her oversight with a substantial salary increase attached to the new position.

They will depart Maynard by auto around 10 in the morning with tickets priced at three dollars.
Brick Wilder of the Springfield team has played 60 games this year with 175 hits and 126 bases including 18 two baggers and seven runs. He leads in batting and boasts a .969 fielding average with 260 chances and five errors. Wally Simpson replaces him with 219 at bats and 19 chances on defense.
