In Concord's annual town election Edward W. Sheehan lost to Krist Andersen with George A. Bauer finishing third. The turnout was 1,759 votes about 45 percent of 3,999 registered voters, the highest since 1940. Rudolph W. Currier won the Recreation Commission seat, while Mrs. McGrath and Sheehan were re elected.

Town Meeting Planned At State Armory On Monday Night
The annual town meeting will be held Monday March 3 at 7 30 p m in the State Armory Everett street. The Armory will be radio linked to the Veterans Building on Walden street and to the Congressional Church as last year. A voter speaking can be heard by all in the hall while the Veterans Building opens after 750 voters are admitted to the Armory. Balcony access is prohibited by safety rules.
