Leonard Henderson of 15 Lowden Avenue West Somerville died at his home Monday morning after illness. Born in Maynard he would have been 67 on Wednesday. Survived by wife Irene Peters Henderson and three sisters Mrs Hiram Parkin Mrs Howard Wilson of Maynard and Mrs Martha Huntoor of Norwood. Funeral Thursday at 10 at his late home and burial in Maynard family tomb.

Free Men Narrowly Escape Drowning While Fishing
Michael McNamara Jon Sullivan Percival street and Henry Tobin Thompson street were fishing through ice on the Assabet River when their gear was lost and two men died. McNamara Tobin crossed 200 meters above Russell's Bridge. Ivan broke through the ice and fell in.
