Special Boy Scout services were held Sunday morning at Memorial Church with many scouts and cubs, their troop leader and officers present. A scout speaker from Natick gave the address in the chapel.

The Concord Players presented two evenings of February follies at the Veterans' building. A lively vaudeville program featured sparkling music, attractive chorus girls, a jaz band, choir and quartet, plus dramatic sketches and broad humor, drawing large crowds.
The United Cooperative Society of Maynard met February 17, 1936 at Parker street hall with about two hundred members. President Charles W. Manty presided as reports from directors and committees were reviewed. 1935 sales reached 392 719.18 with net earnings of 20 166.06 and a four percent patronage dividend totaling about 18 000 to be returned to customers. Manager Arvo N. Rivera led the session.

Joseph T. Boucher of Nashua Street Billerica is charged with blowing the Acton High School safe and stealing about $20. He is held in 2500 bail for the Grand Jury. Police arrested him in Billerica the morning after the robbery following an investigation by Chief Foley and officers Spurr Trainor.
George G Sherman husband of Ruth Piper Sherman died at the family home in Newton Highlands last week. A native of Newton Highlands he was known for his visits to the Piper family home. Burial occurred last Thursday in Woodlawn Cemetery Acton Center.

A young girl was injured when struck by a car while coasting near her home Wednesday afternoon. Neighbors and relatives organized flowers and spiritual offerings as first aid and police investigated the incident.
