The Colonel's Maid Packs the West Concord Auditorium

The Helping Hand Society of the West Concord Union Church presented The Colonel's Maid at Harvey Wheele School auditorium Friday. Warren Goddard and Richard W McCabe starred as rival colonels with Miss Marian Frame and Alison Massie in key roles. Ching the cook, played by Mrs Josephine Pierce, drew laughs. The cast also included Egbert Montague, Karl Madsen, and Miss Alison Massie. The production, coached by Mr and Mrs W. Edward Lamb, featured music by Velma Hinman and Ruth MacWilliams, with Mrs William P. MacWilliams as general chair.

Maynard L D Wilson De Molay Observes 7th Anniversary

The Maynard L D Wilson Chapter De Molay marked its seven year anniversary with a banquet entertainment and degree work at the Masonic hall Monday night. Guests and parents attended as Mr and Mrs Oliver Trees supervised a roast lamb supper served by Rainbow Girls at 6:30. A memorial service for the late Chester I Campbell was directed by William K Walters with assistants. George Erickson led an entertainment program by a quartet of Madsen Smith Palmer and Carlton with Walter priest Conroy Willis, featuring vocal solos by Robert Madsen and Frances Archer accompanying.
