North Acton couple returns from Canada business trip
Hon and Mrs Rolfer Bradbury of North Acton have returned after six weeks in Canada. Mr Bradbury departs for Chicago and the West for his Christine tree business. They stayed at the American House Sherbrooke Quebec as guests.

Dr. E Titcomb, Concord Physician, Dies in Manchester
Dr. George E Titcomb a Concord physician for nearly fifty years died at his daughter Mrs. John A Urquhart’s home in Manchester New Hampshire after a long illness. He was born in Farmington New Hampshire in 1854 educated at Phillips Exeter Harvard Medical School practiced in Concord since art. He is survived by two sons Rodiman Titcomb Geneva New York John Titcomb and two sisters Mrs Rufus Howell Springfield and Miss Mary Titcomb Hagerstown Maryland and two brothers John Titcomb Hartford Connecticut and Edwin Titcomb Los Angeles California Funeral was held Saturday at 2 p m at First Parish Church Reverend Loren B Macdonald conducted services. Burial Sleepy Hollow Cemetery beside wife and son. Church bell tolled in his honor. He was a member of the Laymen's League and First Parish Church and aided many causes quietly. He was a skilled physician surgeon and diagnostician whose generosity benefited the needy and who faced death with Christian fortitude. He expressed hope there would be no sadness of farewell at the end. He will be greatly missed in Concord.

Concord Residents Honor Dr Titcomb in Unitarian Service
Mr and Mrs Harold Ridcot of Nankeaginn Ashburnham and their four children were recent guests at his parents home on Winthrop Street. Town residents attended a united service for Dr George E Titcomb at the Unitarian Church. Titcomb died at his daughter's home in Manchester New Hampshire where he had lived since last July.

Christmas Fair at Union Church Draws Large Crowd
The Ladies Union of Union Church held a two session Christmas Fair in the church vestry with Mrs. Mary E. Pratt as general chairman and a large committee. Tables offered gifts, aprons, handkerchiefs, candy and food under various chairmen, plus a cafeteria style supper and a musical program.

Dennis Callahan aged 96, the town's oldest resident, died Thursday at 2 PM at his son John Callahan's Prospect Court home. Born in Cork Ireland, he lived 62 years here, 58 in Maynard. He leaves two sons John and Joseph and daughter Mary Casey. Funeral Masses were held at St Bridget's Church and burial followed in St Bridget's cemetery.
