Two men robbed a Maynard home at 10 o clock Monday taking $90 from a bureau. Mrs Stemplesky alone within sight of the store, resisted as the pair fled in a car. Police alerted neighboring towns and Somerville police tracked a car to a local town. The owners' identities were not known.

Mrs Nettie N Trees mother of Oliver Trees died at her home 49 Milton Street Lawrence Sunday morning about 8 36 after a ten weeks illness. She was 72 years old and survived by her son Oliver.
