Town Mourns Rev Loren B Macdonald
The sudden death of Rev Loren B Macdonald minister of First Parish Concord shocked the town. He died at his Lowell road home after ptomaine poisoning amid a social event last Tuesday evening. Born January 21 1856 in Newport Nova Scotia he was Harvard educated and served Ellsworth Wolfeboro New Old South Boston and Concord before his death. Survived by Mary Josephine Bygrave his widow two sons Gordon and Theodore and daughter Edith. Funeral held at the First Parish Meeting House with town flags at half mast.
