At West Acton Baptist Church last Thursday a good crowd attended a supper and enjoyed a re cent farce staged by the West Acton Women’s Club. The play Rev. Peter Price, Bachelor was directed by Miss Helen Knowlton and produced by Mrs. Flora Beach and others. Mrs. George E. Holton and Miss Alice Gentliner plan a Washington trip next week. C Richard Schbair and family rented the tenement vacated by Chuarios Waite and will move in soon. H. W. Owens serves on the federal jury in Boston.

Ellen Josephine Walker Conant died at her Acton street home Sunday evening April 23 aged 86 years 1 month 12 days after a short illness. Born in Medford March 11 1836 she was twice married first to John Marshall and later to Francis Conant of Acton. She leaves two sisters Julia Kerker Medford and Georgie Webber Wiscasset Me. Funeral at First Universalist Church Wednesday at 2 PM.
