Seven St Marys High School students in Waltham earned honors, led by freshman Paul Lavrakas with 97.4. Mayor Austin Rhodes attended the ceremony, returning to St Marys after 62 years. Honorees include juniors Geoffrey Kingston 92 and Thomas McArdle 90.8, seniors David Lavrakas and Robert McLaughlin, and sophomores Peter Dalton and Paul McClure with second honors.

Concord Angus A Kennedy about 25 at 23 Main street was severely injured and escaped death when his car overturned several times at Alcott and Lexington roads Saturday night. He was thrown about 25 feet, rushed to Emerson Hospital by Firemen Everett Pekins and James E Finan, then found with a fractured skull and other injuries. He lay unconscious days but is recovering. Firemen and police responded and patrolmen Thomas and Graham investigated.
Concord will hold a series of exhibits in connection with the April 19 celebration. Towler, in charge, plans a sale in the Mill Dam area on April 17. Our Lady Help of Christians No. 1116 CDA hosts a church hall whist party Friday at 8 p.m. Prizes and refreshments offered.
Concord Lawrence Levy of Allied Research Associates Inc Boston says the firm has exercised an option to buy land on Virginia Road known as Carlson property. The land will serve as a future building site for Allied Research, a Boeing subsidiary focused on physical and aeronautical science R D initiatives.
