The Choral Society announced a concert with violinist Nina Fletcher of Newton. James F Moore returned from Chicago after six weeks with his sons. Miss Alice Wright is critically ill with pneumonia. her sister Ella Wright assists. Charles P Hartwell also critically ill but cared for. Herbert E Richardson resigns as superintendent in Greenfield to take a post in New Jersey. The Woman's Club enjoyed a bird talk by Rev Packard and Mrs John H Hardy Jr with mounted specimens and pictures. Norman Bonnell played from Martha in the co opera. Large turnout including schoolchildren and teachers.

Death of George Blackburn Leaves Christian Endeavor Family
George Blackburn died on Monday April 1 at age 21. Born in Lawrence he studied there before moving to Lewiston and joining the Baptist Church Endeavorers. After tuberculosis and hospital treatments in Kansas City he returned home, living with faith and courage until his quiet death. He leaves a father, mother, and sister and many friends who mourn his loss.
