Patriotic Bedford Meeting Highlights Civic Virtues
A large audience attended a patriotic meeting at Bedford Civic club on April 14. Hon. B Gould, chairman of the Mid county commissioners, spoke on Middlesex County and the colonial Revolutionary era. He shared historical sidelights and urged civic duties with conviction. Miss Ida M. Cole hosted a weekend party at a Concord river camp with guests including M W White, Mrs Quin ny Cole, Mrs Hudson, and Misses Caverly Colley.

The town has over 50 new subscribers this spring. The Public Library received Checker Compendium from Dennis Spain. The checker club will feature F. L. McLellan and Sam Kehoe on May 5.
