Miss Victoria Giroir went to Cape Breton. Miss Janet Loring returned from Brooklyn. Edward Dee began duties as Boston public school instructor. Miss Margaret Hamilton returned to New Bedford after vacation. John Anderson and family occupy Withington farm after purchase. F W Bradford family moved to Lowell for California move. Edward MacClellan lost a Ford number 21396 on State road toward Lexington. please return to post office.
Friday evening at I O O F hall a large audience enjoyed the annual musicale of the West Concord Woman's Club. Mrs. Walters led the program with vocal soloists Mrs. Jeanne H. Tanner and Willard Bowdoin, violinist Miss Rebeccah Warren, and accompanist Miss Dora Kerwin. The cast delivered refined renditions from Invictus to Grandma at the Masquerade, receiving strong applause for readings and violin obligato.
Local items note public schools closed for Easter. The third issue of the Voice, Co. H. 8. paper, is out this week. Several social events planned including a Glee Club concert on May 4 and a Musical club guest night Tuesday.
