Girl Scout Troops Elect Officers and Plan Cards
Girl Scout troops across the district named their officers for the year. Troop 6 led by Joyce McNutt and Bernice Swindle, Troop 7 under P. T. Galiga and W. Ferrill, and Troop 8 led by Wm. Chilton and Ben Evridge elected presidents and secretaries. Troop 8 plans Christmas card sales instead of cookies and will publish American Girl magazines for each member. Troop 8 pauses meetings for two weeks while Chilton vacations in New York.
