A series of court actions passed with all aye votes. Charles Bean and Homer Miller moved to read last meeting minutes. Homer Miller and Billy Patton approved salaries. Bean approved bonds for Darlene Morris, e ty Daymond Power, Eldon Terrell, and Thomas W. Connally. Derwin Nabors and Patton certified receipts of 424.74 probation fees and 584.18 expenses. Patton moved to place new locks on court house offices and basement barriers.

Tarleton College News Highlights Local Achievements
Billy Loggins, son of Mrs. Ben Loggins, elected president of Beta Beta Club at Tarleton. He is a senior majoring in lab technology and has been accepted to the University of Texas medical branch in Austin. Reeee Zelma Chapman Joy Hunter Linda Ellington and Pam Hitt enrolled in a two month Medication Aids course for nursing home staff at Tarleton Institute of Gerontology to meet Texas Public Health requirements. Mrs. Pat Belyeu led the course as Executive Secretary of the institute. Dr. Mary S. Staig noted Tarleton’s Gerontology program as the state’s only undergraduate offering. Kim Braziel, Angelo State student, visited home for the weekend.
