REA Lines Expand Second Comanche County Project
104 miles of the 218 miles in Project B rural electrification lines in Comanche and Eastland Counties have been staked. A. C. Thomas says the second Comanche County project should be released to the Uvalde Construction Company of Dallas by Monday. The bid of 110,449 was accepted September 14 by REA officials in Washington. Project B will serve 475 customers and top lines will run from Project A in Comanche County. The first Comanche-Fassland project already provides power to over 400 customers with new connections daily. Section C of the cooperative electric association is planned next for Brown, Comanche, and parts of Mills County.
