Comanche Students To Attend 16 Colleges This Fall
More than fifty five Comanche youths will depart for college this fall across 16 institutions. Texas A M leads with fourteen enrollees, followed by North Texas State Teachers College with eleven. Other schools include John Tarleton College, University of Texas, Frends University, Naval Academy, Stephen’s College, Howard Payne, and more, with a mix of in state and out of state colleges. Names of attendees span multiple families and reflect a broad distribution across schools and majors.

Rat Killing Campaign Initiated in Comanche
Sponsored by Comanche business men a contract with the Extension Department of A M College begins a rat killing drive in Comanche city with plans to expand across Comanche County. Sixty dollars was raised this week to finance the effort as Extension managers are due next week to begin work led by E S Fagan. An article by Mr Fagan and County Agent Holcomb will publish next week detailing the plan. Eugene Neely of Dallas visited Comanche on business.
