Clemons owner of Clemons Motor Company was in Dallas Monday to view the new 1946 Ford at the Adolphus. He examined and drove the car and called it a dandy. He did not name the price but hopes to be among the first dealers to have the model on sale.

Life of Pfc Joe Magness Ended In Maryland Car Crash
Pfc Joe Magness, 24, son of Mrs Maude Magness of Comanche, died instantly when an automobile rolled seven miles from Fort Meade Maryland on September 6. He served 33 months overseas and was due to be discharged soon. Funeral rites were held at Fort Meade and in Comanche with military honors, burial in Oakwood Cemetery. He leaves his mother one sister and four brothers, including service members Jim, Wagner, Winlow, and Jack.

Reese Butane and Appliance Store Opens Here
Fisher Reese Gwens Butane and Appliance Company opens this week in the former Panhandle Service Station Building on Fort Worth Highway ten blocks east of the square. The wartime freeze on butane has been lifted, allowing sale and installation of butane and propane tanks and equipment. The first shipment of butane plants is expected this week, with orders now being taken. Storage facilities will be built near the Comanche city limits.
