A week long Comanche County Teachers Institute concluded with high praise for sessions led by San Marcos Normal’s Birdwell and East Texas Normal’s Blankenship. Methodist Revival in Comanche Ends After 15 Days
The Methodist revival at the Comanche tabernacle concluded last Sunday night amid bad weather and political excitement. Rev W E Hawkins Jr preached plainly while Harlan J Roper led singing. 55 public professions occurred, 35 new members joined, and a free will offering of 601 was collected for the evangelist, singer, and pianist.
