Mrs. Eva Jane Rushing Gore Dies After Weeklong Illness
Mrs. Eva Jane Rushing Gore of Comanche died at 2 15 AM Saturday October 23 at German Hospital after a week of illness. Funeral services were held at Mercer Gap Church the next day with burial in the Mercer Gap Cemetery. She was born June 17 1895 in Comanche County and spent her life there. She married C R Gore June 19 1913 and was a Baptist church member since 1934. Survived by husband two sons Earl Gore of Comanche Carroll Gore of El Paso one granddaughter Linda Lou Gore three sisters Mrs Alfred McKinzie Mrs Doc Edwards Mrs Delbt Couch two brothers Dode Rushing Roy Rushing and her father J R Rushing.
