Grand Jury Returns Twenty-Seven Indictments Here

Peanuts Weighed in Comanche Market Near Seven Million Pounds
Between six and seven million pounds of peanuts have been weighed at Comanche this season as truckloads continue to arrive. Most peanuts in the county will be threshed in ten days with market activity staying high for two to three weeks. Some buyers expect ten million pounds sold locally within three weeks. Number 1 peanuts fetch 9 4 cents per bushel.
