Western Auto robbed of $100 here Thursday
Western Auto associate was robbed here Thursday taking about $100 from the cash drawer. The thief obtained the money in $1 and other bills. Owner Ray Evans says the robbery occurred between 11 45 and 1 30 and $15 in change was left or miscounted.

Comanche Man Reunites With Brother After Fifty Years
Clayton brothers Dan and John Wallace Clayton, ages 64 and 83, met in Kansas where John works as a railroad engineer and Dan farms in Comanche County. It was their first sight in fifty years since Dan was 14 and John 33 at their last meeting. The reunion was joined by Mrs. Clayton and Otis Clayton, as well as Key, who drove from Comanche in a car for a three year visit.

Visitor from Texas Rangers Captain Hughes Dies
J R Hughes 84 former Texas Ranger died in Comanche en route from El Paso to Austin. He served 28 years, was appointed captain by six governors, and chaired the Citizens Bank of Austin board. He owned a major Tray County ranch and invested in Rio Grande Valley land later boosted by irrigation.
