Election Polls Show Roosevelt Leading Texas Strongly
The Dallas Morning News reports Roosevelt ahead in 25 states and Dewey in 19 with 243 to 226 electoral votes. Texas favored Roosevelt 75 percent to 71 percent, a 2 percent rise for Roosevelt in the current poll versus a month ago, while the statewide popular vote sits 51 to 49 in Roosevelt's favor.
