Sidney Gin Destroyed By Fire In Sidney
Fire destroyed the Sidney Gin Monday night causing a total loss of the building and machinery. The seed house was saved by volunteers. the gin, owned by Amos Haynes, had $12,000 in value with partial insurance. Blanket Woman Killed In Auto Accident Near Beeville
Mrs. Jimmie Tyler of Blanket, 28, died in an early Monday automobile crash near Beeville. Her husband was lightly injured and two children survived.
