Students in grades 6 to 8 competed in a National Book Week poster contest at Comanche High School. Winners across grade levels received cash prizes from the Public Library and were honored at a special assembly.
Here From Dallas Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Binnion visited his sister in town Sunday. Ralph Binnion is the Director of Registration at SMU and Mrs. Binnion teaches at Jefferson Davis High School.
In Comanche County Texas the County Court hears a partition and distribution petition for the estate of H Shockley deceased No 3443 filed by D A Weaver Eva Solar joined by husband Vincent Solar and Pauline May Rooker joined by husband James 8 Rooker The hearing is set for December 7 1964 at 10 00 AM in the County Court Room The officer must serve and return the writ as required Ruth Robertson of Austin visited Comanche over the weekend with her parents Mr and Mrs Houston Robertson.
Comanche 4 H Club met November 16 at 7 30 p m in the Comanche County Electric Cooperative Building. Don Parks led the pledge and prayer and was elected president for the 1965 club year with Charles Williams as vice president Max Parker secretary treasurer and Cind y Parks Vicki Gore reporters Sharon Craig council delegate Wayne Robertson recreation leader Bennie Simpson song leader Glen Park er led songs Texas Power and Light Company representative Wayne Pinkerton spoke on electric projects The meeting adjourned for recreation and refreshments
