Sidney Methodists Plan 100th Anniversary Service
The Sidney Methodist Church marks a century since its 1877 organization by Rev. Peter Graves and lay preacher Manse Coker with a special service on Sunday November 29 led by Pastor Rev. Guy Perdue. The history notes the church’s evolution from Jimmie's Creek to Round Mountain and then Sidney, with remodels and a 60 year span of changes. A centennial edition notes membership and pastor history, praising faithful members who kept the doors open.
