Local Gins Mail Low Cotton Yield This Season
Only 235 bales of cotton have been ginned at Comanche this season, a fraction of last year’s 3500 plus. Herman Rauhut, manager of one of three gins, estimates 500 bales countywide. Two more ginning days are planned Friday November 18 and Friday November 26, with operations pausing for Thanksgiving.

Ten Cars Turkeys Shipped To Date
